I am an ecological designer, educator, farm business planner and an on farm manager. My specific farm design work specializes in regenerative agriculture, intensive agroforestry systems, livestock integration, diversified annual/perennial production, key-line design, and whole farm viability and profitability. I studied at the University of Vermont where I received a bachelors degree in Agro-Ecology. Shortly after my time in Vermont I moved to Ventura, California where I managed Apricot Lane Farms or “ The Biggest little Farm.” From there I have helped to design/manage farms from California to Maryland.

I am a native Mainer with a passion for agriculture, building, and sustainability. Over the past thirteen years, I have been learning how to consciously combine these passions to become a mindful steward of the land I love working on. I have operated heavy equipment since the age of seventeen and have spent thousands of hours mastering all facets of the earthwork and excavation industry. In 2019, I moved to Southern California to work at Apricot Lane Farms, also known as 'The Biggest Little Farm", where I was first introduced to Daniel. My time in California also included working for Shepherdess Land and Livestock, a contract grazing operation dedicated to land management and wildfire mitigation. These work experiences provided me with a comprehensive education and an in-depth understanding of regenerative farming and ranching, soil health, biodiversity, animal integration, stockmanship, holistic infrastructure development, habitat restoration, and more.
